Challenges and opportunities:

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Open Science promotes the participation of diverse social groups in research, fostering collaboration, transparency and equitable access to knowledge, which in turn drives innovation and social progress. It includes open access to publications, research data, software, citizen participation and educational resources. Institutions at the international and national level promote it, especially in the health sciences, where it is crucial for the prevention of prevalent diseases. Open Science and open data offer opportunities to improve health and well-being by filling gaps in existing datasets and providing a more complete view of public health.<\/p>

However, Open Science studies on health problems lack established proven methodologies and systems for evaluating their results and impact. Moreover, researchers, health professionals, citizens and patients lack training, coordination, shared vision and comparable research measures in open science. The impact of Open Science would be improved if they were all trained and empowered to use standardized methodologies for its implementation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
